Be part of the opening team for the new Extended Stay Premier located at 4034 Barrancas Ave, Pensacola, FL 32507. We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us. You will collaborate with our general manager to plan and oversee the hotel's daily operations, and assume the GM responsibilities in their absence. This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience with our services. Responsibilities: • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support • Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas• Assist general manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotel in maintaining all standards of guest service• Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed• Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the general manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required• Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills• Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality• A high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in hospitality management or a related field• You must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team, preferably in a hospitality role About Company: New Extended Stay Premier Suites coming to 4034 Barrancas Ave, Pensacola, FL 32507!
