Poppins Productions is seeking to bring onboard 3 Social Media Specialist Interns to join our team in providing assistance for our corporate office and sister organizations, Poppins Extensions Plus and Poppins Urban Podcast. We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable individual with an ability to be innovative and work well under pressure, especially as it relates to the entertainment and beauty world Social Media Specialist Intern The Social Media Specialist (Intern) is a vital role that supports the digital media staff to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns, aiming to boost brand engagement and drive revenue growth. Their duties include but are not limited to Create, coordinate, and execute captivating social media campaigns and designs. Develop weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company and client brands across various social media platforms and the website. Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets. Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability using social media metrics. Collaborate with various departments (Marketing, Website/IT, i.e.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate action. Respond to reader comments and oversee creative design. Support marketing team at live and online events. Complete related tasks as needed. ​Qualifications: Currently pursuing or holds an Associates or Bachelors from a college or university, preferred. Previous related coursework, volunteer experience, and 1-2 years of professional work experience will be considered as well. Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), and presentation skills. Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, conversion rate optimization, and search engine optimization. Strong interpersonal skills, as well as is an excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management. Familiarity and experience using social media metrics is a major plus. A highly organized and self time-managed person that pays close attention to detail and is able to multitask. Must be proficient in MS Office products. Ability to work within a team environment and independently. Is flexible with schedule, able to work evenings and weekends.
