Summary The Michigan Clinical Consultation & Care Program (MC3) provides no-cost psychiatry consultations, education, and resources to primary care providers in Michigan treating pediatric and perinatal patients with behavioral/mental health concerns.The entry-level/intermediate half-time data analyst will support MC3 in its pilot expansion to emergency department providers, school mental health professionals, and pediatric subspecialty providers, in addition to providing support for other MC3 service areas as needed. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and inform decision-making. You will report to the lead analyst and work with the program team to ensure that data collection methods are accurate and efficient. Why Join Michigan Medicine? Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage effective on your very first day 2:1 Match on retirement savings Responsibilities* Collect and analyze data related to the physician-to-physician consultation program Help develop data collection tools and protocols Maintain databases to track program outcomes and performance indicators Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to the program team and stakeholders Collaborate with program staff to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them Ensure that data collection methods comply with program requirements and best practices Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in data analysis and program evaluation Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications* Research Area Specialist Associate: Bachelor's degree 1-3 years of experience in related field Research Area Specialist Intermediate: Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, public health, or related field 4 to 5 years experience in related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL Experience with creating charts, graphs, and reports Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis Knowledge of mental and behavioral health issues in children and adolescents Desired Qualifications* Master's degree preferred in psychology, social work, public health, or related field. Work Schedule This is a part-time position, 20 hours a week. Work hours should be conducted Monday-Friday between 8AM and 5PM. Underfill Statement This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Additional Information This is a term-limited position and will end by October 2026. At the end of the stated term, your appointment will terminate, and will not be eligible for Reduction-in-Force (RIF) benefits. This term-limited appointment does not create a contract or guarantee of employment for any period of time as you will remain subject to disciplinary or other performance measures, up to and including termination, at the will of the University in accordance with existing University policy and standards for employee performance and conduct. Background Screening Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third-party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
