Our Converged Sensors team is accelerating multi-mission aperture & multi-mission processing technologies through research, development, & demonstrations. Who You Are Our team is seeking a game-changing software engineer architect to help design, develop, & deliver heterogeneous high-performance compute multi-mission digital signal processing hardware & software. This includes utilizing the latest processing technologies & integrating together into common processor form factors. This also includes delivering software development kits & employing DevSecOps methodologies to integrate & execute complex Radar, EW, & Communications skills/modes/algorithms. In this role, you will serve as a software engineer architect on a product team dedicated to architecting, prototyping, & demonstrating Radar, Electronic Warfare, & Communications multi-mission processing algorithms on high-performance compute environments. A level 4 employee is typically senior-career and has 7 to 9+ years of professional experience. Please note:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret government security clearance.This position requires the ability to travel up to 20% to Lockheed Martin sites as needed. Typical minimum experience is 9+ years with a Bachelor's degree or 7+ with a Masters degree- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant development experience- Expertise in embedded software development using C/C++- Experience using Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) for Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) acceleration- Prior software architecture & processing architecture role(s) - Excellent verbal & written communication skills- Active or ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance- Ability to support up to 20% travel Desired Skills: - Master's degree or higher in relevant field- Experience with embedded software development- Experience with deploying software to FPGAs using high level synthesis (HLS)- Understanding of Radar, Electronic Warfare, Communications systems- Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) concepts & implementation- Expertise in digital signal processing & algorithm development- Experience in developing CUDA-based signal processing pipelines- Prior experience in the defense industry or related field- Knowledge of Agile & DevSecOps methodologies Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $105,000 - $201,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,700 - $227,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
