The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) at LIPS. Healthcare is a vital member of the team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care and Consultant relationships. The role involves providing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient flow, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within the clinic. Staff are multi skilled in this diverse role incorporating clinic support, patient care and front and back of house services. The role involves effective communication with patients and colleagues, meticulous documentation, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives. Being able to promote an excellent patient experience in a private care setting with attention to detail and impressing key stakeholders such as Consultants and ensuring the clam and effective running of the service on a day to day basis. Job Role: Patient care: Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. Escort patients to examination rooms and assist with their comfort and needs. Support healthcare professionals during patient examinations. tests and procedures. Manage concerns raised by patients, visitors and staff in a proactive, timely fashion and take remedial actions as necessary Support effective stock management , ordering and ensuring clinical supplies in place for services Understand products and services to support patients , making appointments and understanding clinic management. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Develop effective communication with consultants and clinic service providers. Offer care and compassion for patients with concerns and questions. Delivery and excellent customer service to patients and Consultants Quality Improvement: Understand the LIPS. Strategy and develop performance and services to support Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives. Stay updated on best practices and contribute.
