There is a job opening for a Hematologist/Oncologist in the Boston, Massachusetts area at a teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School. The Oncology/Hematology Division offers a range of clinical services, such as a bustling outpatient practice, an inpatient consulting service, and a fully-fledged chemotherapy/infusion area. Our patients come from both suburban and urban areas, and we pride ourselves on our outstanding and collaborative workplace culture. The Opportunity Join the growing Division of?Hematology/Oncology at a 217-bed hospital The division consists of 4 medical oncologists, oncology Nurse Practitioners, a robust Genetics program, and a full complement of oncology nurses and Nurse Navigators both in the office and in the infusion clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population The group provides a unique blend of stimulating and rigorous academic medicine and teaching of both medical students and internal medicine residents while maintaining a warm and collegial day-to-day work environment in a community-based setting Incoming Physician will be eligible for a faculty appointment as an instructor, assistant, or associate professor at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with experience and qualifications We would be particularly interested in someone whose primary interests were in benign hematology, breast cancer, or genitourinary cancer An attractive compensation plan and robust benefits package will come with this position Community/ Location Located in one of Boston's most sought-after neighborhoods with nearby prestigious colleges and universities, including Harvard and MIT City population of 116,000 people This area boasts highly-rated public schools,?parks, cafes, bookstores, museums, and easy access to Logan International Airport JV-2405-98661
