Apply today to find out how you can become a part of our team. We are seeking a Stainless And Carbon Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms. Responsibilities:• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products• Install and repair various equipment and components• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Qualifications:• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields preferred• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics• Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential• Ability to handle physical workload• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.) Compensation: $20+ hourly based on experience About Company: SMSI is dedicated to providing the highest quality mechanical services performed in an honest, dependable, and efficient manner.
