Data Center Customer Operations IV Job Summary Troubleshoots and installs advanced circuits, and performs custom installations. Responsibilities InstallationsRacks and stacks customer equipmentReads installation plans (Visio Drawings / Spreadsheets) and implements installation accordinglyInstalls circuits requiring advanced fiber terminationsQueue ManagementDetermines work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensures adherence to all commit timesTesting/TroubleshootingTroubleshoots switched / multiplexed / media converted circuits; escalates to, and works with networking group, as neededWorks with customers to troubleshoot issuesCross ConnectsInstalls/tests/modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connectsInstalls and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)Documentation/ReportingMaintains detailed written records of all work activityProjectsDesigns and leads cage / infrastructure modification projectsTrainingCompletes all assigned training in a timely mannerCustomer ManagementSupports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order execution Qualifications 1+ years experienceHigh School DiplomaBERT and SONET test equipmentEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
