Acutronic is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will directly support the Acutronic Group’s US Financial Director and the Aerospace Component Division’s General Manager with a range of tasks, including but not limited to treasury management, receivables, payables, payroll, 401k, fixed asset register maintenance, general ledger reconciliations, month-end close, and management information reporting. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the field of accounting and/or finance, with at least 2 years gained in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment. Senior Staff Accountant Your Roles/Responsibilities: Perform month, quarter-end and year-end close process, including preparation of related schedules Responsible for customer invoicing and all accounts receivable activities including credit control and assisting Project Management as required to meet customer requirements associated with invoicing and ensuring timely payment by customer Maintain fixed asset register and prepare monthly depreciation journal entries Support payroll and 401k processing Assist with cash flow forecasting Prepare and submit sales tax returns Review and compare customer purchase orders and project budgets for entry of new projects into the ERP system Assist with external audits of financial statements, 401k plan, and workers compensation Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, preferred Minimum 5 years experience in the field of accounting and/or finance, with at least 2 years gained in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment Experience with government contracts preferred Experience with project cost accounting and percentage of completion revenue recognition strongly preferred We Offer: Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k match Company-paid holidays and Paid-Leave Time 9/80 flex schedule About Acutronic: The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
