The Original Fit Factory is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Henderson, NV. This position will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, cashflow preparation, and a variety of functions to support our fitness and wellness brands such as TruFusion and Niyama Sol.We are excited to meet candidates who have relevant experience and enjoy building and implementing new processes. We offer a competitive package including company paid holidays, health benefits including medical, dental, and vision, attractive PTO program, and more!Join our dynamic finance team as a Staff Accountant, a critical role ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, completing month-end closes, and providing essential support to payroll operations. This position holds responsibility for maintaining day-to-day transactional accuracy, making it integral to our organizational success.Main Responsibilities:· Manage payroll, billing, receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions.· Maintain internal controls for AR and AP· Produce monthly financial statements including balance sheet, profit/loss statements using Quickbooks Online· Ensure that all general ledger accounts are reconciled to subsidiary records on a monthly basis· Prepare monthly closing general ledger entries· Review reconciliations to ensure that they are prepared properly and follow-up on any unusual items· Payroll and commission tracking and processing· Manage filing of tax forms including 1099s, IRS pension report· Oversee, in conjunction with independent auditor, preparation of annual audit· Reconcile bank and investment accounts and prepare related journal entries· Complete preparation of invoices· Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance DirectorRequirements:• Bachelor’s degree in accounting• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy• Advanced computer skills• QuickBooks Online experience mandatory• Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred• Proven knowledge of GAAP practices, standards, laws and regulations• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamExperience:• 3+ years in an accounting/bookkeeping role• Experience in book-keeping, payroll, and financial accounting• Full cycle accounting
