The Arc Ontario Broker (OPWDD) - PER DIEM Salary: $19.94 - $21.24 Position Overview Join us in creating a world where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can lead self-directed lives. As a Broker, you'll be a vital part of The Arc Ontario, facilitating Person-Centered Planning and crafting customized budgets to empower those we support. In this role, you'll schedule and lead Planning Meetings, collaborate with Medicaid Service Coordinators, and champion individualized Self-Directed Plans. Actively seek community connections, develop tailored budgets, and maintain open communication with supervisors, support circles, and service providers. Document progress diligently, engage in professional development, and contribute to our mission of fostering an inclusive and supportive community. The Arc Ontario Story: Founded in 1954 we believe that All individuals with disabilities or other challenges are one with their community. Responsibilities Assists with development of scheduling of Planning Meetings and acts in partnership with the Medicaid Service Coordinator. Develops, implements, and maintains the Self Directed Plan with the individual and their chosen circle of support, keeping in mind the premise of Person-Centered Planning. Seek to identify community connections and resources. Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred. Three years of relevant experience. Agency will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Broker Certification obtained through OPWDD Broker Training Institute. Valid NYS Driver's License.
