Our rapidly-expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your sales goals. Responsibilities: • Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims• Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping• Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business• Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience• Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies Qualifications: • Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor’s degree is desired• Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus• Client service experience as a sales representative a plus• Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite Compensation: $75,000 - $119,000 Projected Income at Plan About Company: As a mutual company, with no investors or outside owners, New York Life Charlotte General Office is uniquely aligned with our client's interests and priorities.
