Little League World Series Laundry & Housekeeping Roles Dates of Employment are June 3 - August 25, 2024 (2 roles needed) August 14 - August 25, 2024 (4 roles needed) We are looking for professional Housekeepers with the highest level of integrity, follows directions, and a strong ability to pay attention to details. Do you take pride in your work and can provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service to our facilities and laundry unit? If so, this may be a perfect temporary position for you! THIS IS A GREAT FIRST POSITION & TRAINING IS PROVIDED! Little League International of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is looking to hire two (2) temporary Laundry & Housekeeper positions for a 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift that will run from June 3, 2024 to August 25, 2024 and four (4) temporary Laundry & Housekeeper positions for the following shifts that will run from August 14, 2024 to August 25, 2024: 10 AM to 5 PM 4:00 PM to Midnight Pay is $13 per hour for 35 hours per week. Extensive background checks are required. LAUNDRY & HOUSEKEEPING STAFF DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): Receiving guest laundry, sorting, cleaning, and folding laundry, towels, and linens, operating commercial washers and dryers, maintaining laundry equipment, performing daily cleaning duties including dormitory style housing and bathroom facilities, report any repairs to supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS FOR SHORT-TERM TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPER At least 18 years of age Ability to follow directions and take constructive feedback on performance Able to stand, stoop, and bend for long periods of time Capable of lifting 40 pounds Able to operate commercial washers and dryers with direction Working knowledge of basic cleaning equipment Must be within commuting distance of South Williamsport and have reliable transportation Time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple projects A positive attitude, open mind, and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Possess a valid driver's license.
