Duties:Participate in all aspects of a case, from intake to settlement or trialCommunicate clearly and effectively with clients throughout their caseDraft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery, and settlement demandsArgue motions, including discovery and dispositive motionsResearch complex legal issues in preparation of memoranda and oral arguments Requirements:JD from an ABA Accredited law schoolExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsMember of the Rhode Island BarMembership to the Massachusetts and/or Connecticut bars is a plus Skills:Effective oral and written communication and advocacySkilled in legal research and writingOutstanding organization, time management, and attention to detail Experience:0-3 years of experience handling civil litigation cases Benefits offered:Health and dental insurancePaid holidaysPaid time offProfit-sharing planCompetitive salary
