What you'll be doing: I nspect and perform pest control treatments for customers to identify pest infestations and determine the appropriate treatment plan Use power tools and hand tools to apply pesticides and other pest control products Set up traps to capture or eliminate pests Document all treatments and maintain accurate records of services provided Demonstrate excellent communication skills as you interact with customers , office staff, and service managers Follow a daily schedule , insuring timely arrival at each account Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity Represents Killingsworth with honesty and integrity Additional job duties, as needed You're going to love this job, if: You prefer working outside instead of sitting in a boring office all-day You're not afraid of crawlspaces - you'll find yourself inspecting & treating crawl spaces and going into attic areas of homes Enjoy being on a team and working independently Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 1 -3 years of experience in the pest control industry preferred 3 years of driving experience Registered technician training is a plus, but not required to be considered Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, etc. Good communication skills Physical Requirements: Ability to safely operate equipment Able and willing to work in various weather conditions Ability to operate application equipment safely & effectively Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times throughout the workday Ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to seasonal weather (extreme heat or cold) Subject to exposure to animals and insects being outdoors for much of the day Must be able to perform inspections in attics and crawl spaces Job Posted by ApplicantPro
