The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience as a litigator, preferably in personal injury. They must possess strong written and oral communication skills, be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to meet deadlines, and be a team player.Job Overview: The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal advice and counsel to clients. They will work with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve the firm's objectives.Duties:Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositionsDraft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contractsConduct legal research on various issues relevant to casesProvide legal advice and counsel to clientsNegotiate settlements on behalf of clientsAttend client meetings and maintain regular communication to provide updates on case progressCollaborate with colleagues to strategize and develop case theoriesStay updated on changes in the law and legal trends relevant to the firm's practice areasRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Nebraska State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion or examination1-5 years of experience as a litigator, preferably in personal injury lawStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyCertifications:Admission to the Nebraska State BarSkills:Litigation experienceLegal research and writingNegotiation skillsClient communication and counselingCase managementTime management and prioritizationTeamwork and collaborationBenefits: The firm offers 401K, health insurance, and other benefits.
