Prokatchers is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Fairfield, California.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: TravelRequirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: --- Performs C/T and Radiology (X-ray) examinations in accordance to established protocols. --- Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations. --- Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards. --- Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. --- Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use. --- Reports to radiology supervisor all equipment failures and/or malfunctions. --- Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions according to Q.A. policies. --- Responsible for processing images, organizing paperwork and completing charges. --- Works in other areas of the department such as radiology, ultrasound, etc. --- Organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety and the Department of Heath will be met or exceeded. --- Takes call or stand-by when required. --- Performs other duties as required.
