POSITION SUMMARY: The Preassembly Supervisor will be responsible for managing and leading a team of skilled technicians engaged in various preassembly activities, including Wall Build, Foaming, Base Setting, Wall Setting, and Fan Build. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Preassembly Department, meeting production targets, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality. FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the Preassembly Department. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives within the Preassembly Department. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications in all preassembly activities. Implement and enforce quality control measures to minimize defects and rework. Safety: Enforce all safety protocols. Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with other departments to facilitate a seamless production process. Generate regular reports on departmental performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. QUALIFICATIONS Strong knowledge of preassembly processes, including Wall Build, Foaming, Base Setting, Wall Setting, and Fan Build. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to work any shift including weekends as needed. Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment with experience working towards a goal with an achieved result that met or exceeded the goal. Supervisory experience is strongly preferred or demonstration of specific levels of responsibility comparable to a supervisor. Must be honest, energetic, organized, results oriented with excellent communication skills.
