Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Registered Dietitian for St. Joseph Villa in Flourtown, PA. This is an exciting new partnership between Sodexo and St. Joseph Villa! Our Registered Dietitian will promote an environment to improve clinical outcomes and enable residents to thrive. The schedule is Monday-Friday with no weekend requirement. St. Joseph Villa is a well-respected Catholic senior living community and a sponsored work of the Sisters of Saint Joseph. In the spirit of loving its neighbor, the Villa provides skilled nursing care and welcomes everyone to its short-term rehabilitation and its compassionate, state-of-the-art long-term living community. Each of their vibrant health care services is resident-centered and relationship-focused. The successful candidate will: provide medical nutrition therapy to residents in various levels of care including skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care;conduct nutrition-related events for residents including wellness talks and cooking demonstrations in collaboration with the Sodexo executive chef;be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; meet DOH/state/federal and company standards; and/orsupport the food service operation as needed.Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have: Registered Dietitian credentials and state licensure in Pennsylvania;experience working with residents in a continuing care retirement community, preferred;strong verbal and written communication skills;the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and/orexcellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our residents.
