CopperState Fire Protection, a Pye-Baker company, is currently hiring a Kitchen Hood/Extinguisher Technician in our Phoenix, Arizona branch. Duties & Responsibilities: Installation, service, and inspections of kitchen hoods, fire extinguisher and associated systems Prepare for kitchen hood installations by reviewing orders, gathering equipment, supplies, and tools Performs kitchen hood installations by surveying and evaluating the location, identifying hood installation requirements Verifies kitchen hood functionality by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifies and corrects any and all problems Performs system tests as required by contract, permit or NFPA 96 Maintains records by documenting installations Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns; answering questions Responding to service requests, diagnose system malfunctions of systems and making adjustments, repairs or replacing equipment Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices Other duties as assigned Education & Required Skills: High School Diploma / GED 1 years' experience required NICET or CSA Certification preferred Ability to install, inspect, or service kitchen hoods and fire extinguishers Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License Must read and speak English About CopperState Fire Protection: CopperState Fire Protection is a division of Mountain Alarm Fire & Safety.
