Description:

Summary Busy daycare center looking for a part-time maintenance professional. (15-20 hours per week) Flexible schedule M-F mornings Duties Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc. Install necessary fixtures and equipment as needed. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues. Maintain grounds, collecting trash, blowing leaves, gutter cleaning, etc. Electrostatic spraying classrooms twice per week. Minor playground maintenance and inspection. Minor painting, caulking, pressure washing. Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc. as needed. Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, filters. Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems. Report to facilities director regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress. Proven experience as a maintenance worker. Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools. General passion for creative problem-solving Requirements Background screening requiredAble to lift 50-100 lbs
