The Custodian at the Packaging Center is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance functions within the building and on the grounds. What You'll Get: : Competitive wages based on experience: Stable work environment with a growing company: Schedules to maintain work/life balance: Excellent market:leading low cost medical insurance, dental, and vision insurance: Paid vacation and personal time after 30 days of employment: Retirement plan with company match of 50 up to 6 of pay: Prescription safety glasses and safety shoe reimbursement: Paid on:site and off:site training: An Employer whoworks hard to ensure your safety on the job What You'll Do: : Maintains outside grounds by lawn mowing, trimming, snow shoveling, and salting.: Demonstrates light maintenance skills, such as changing light bulbs and lubricating equipment.: Demonstrates basic plumbing skills.: Operates a forklift.: Operates a riding floor scrubber to clean the warehouse floors.: Clears warehouse floors of any dirt and debris.: Maintains the restrooms and lunchrooms in a clean and orderly fashion.: Operates compactors and bailers.: Maintains flags.: Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.: May perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring: : High school diploma or GED, preferred.: Previous custodial experience preferred.: Forklift experience preferred.: Ability to be trained in lockout/tagout procedures.: Desire to keep the Packaging Center clean and maintained.: Effective communication skills.: Able to work independently with little or no supervision.: Safety mindset.
