PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT This opportunity is available for qualified students looking to build a career in Agri:Business. The scholarship would be available through LLCC's Precision Agronomy and Customer Applicator Associate in Applied Science degree. Upon the completion of the program, the student will begin full:time employment in our agronomy operations department. LLCC Program : Precision Agronomy and Custom Application Program details and class information can be found on LLCC's website via the link below: The company will provide required internship positions to the candidate to meet program requirements. In addition to the Precision Agronomy and Custom Application degree the student will complete CDL training to ready them to enter the Agri:Business field. Tuition and books to be paid through the sponsorship. In return the student/employee agrees to full:time employment for 3 years to fulfill the agreement. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Under appropriate supervision, applies crop production inputs to fields and growing crops according to recommended rates, procedures, and following all pesticide labels. Records application data according to regulations and standards. Delivers products to customers according to company standards and to increase potential sales. Communicates sales leads to their supervisor. Sets up material handling, blending, storage, transport and application equipment for blending and delivery of products. Repairs and rebuilds equipment as needed. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to industry standards. May serve on the location Safety Committee and adheres to the company environmental health and safety policies and training. Performs buildings and grounds maintenance as assigned.
