The Dog Stop® is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager with retail, management, and customer service experience to help manage a brand new doggie daycare, boarding, grooming, and retail store in Spring, TX. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager/Owner to set the right team culture! This position will be responsible for the entire facility, its staff, and all our human and canine guests!We are a fast-paced business. The candidate should be prepared to spend the entire shift on his/her feet. Multi-tasking and maintaining organization skills in a busy environment is a requirement.Knowledge of the dog care industry is a plus, but not required, provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of our services and is ready for a dynamic team environment. We require a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an exceptional experience for our clientele, and of course, a love of dogs. The excellent care, comfort, safety, and happiness of our canine guests is our highest priority.Primary functions include: Ensuring the safety, care, and comfort of our canine guests Setting the example for our company culture, values, and goals Ensuring all cleanliness, health, and safety protocols are strictly followed Accountability and management of staff, training, and development Meeting sales goals Providing the highest level of customer service Managing customer issues in person, via phone, email, or social media, and through our online customer satisfaction rating system Oversight, knowledge, and research of retail products and inventory tracking Client tours and developing customer relationships Management of client database Social media content creation and management All employees must adhere to all The Dog Stop Policies and Procedures In addition to a competitive salary, you’ll find many great benefits awaiting you at The Dog Stop®: Bring your dog to work!
