The Senior Attorney will primarily be responsible for conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and representing clients in court proceedings. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for interactions with clients, legal professionals, and third parties. The role also involves producing high-quality deliverables, promptly responding to correspondence, and consistently meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation, along with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Duties:Conduct and defend depositionsManage a case docket efficientlyRepresent clients in court appearancesCommunicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and third partiesProduce high-quality deliverables in a timely mannerRespond promptly to phone calls and correspondenceMeet deadlines and perform assigned duties diligentlyEngage in both physical and sedentary activities as requiredUndertake any other duties or projects as assigned by the firm Requirements:Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigationExcellent research, writing, and analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesExperience with multi-district litigation is desirable Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the State Bar of Texas (or ability to waive in) Skills:Exceptional oral and written communication skillsEffective time management and organizational abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyProficiency in legal research and writing techniques This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
