DFA Zumbrota is part of the Ingredient Solutions Division manufacturing dairy-based ingredients and innovative flavor solutions for customers in the food manufacturing and food service channels.-- Ingredient Solutions has the capability to produce a variety of high-quality products including cheese to custom formulations and trendsetting dairy ingredients.-- It takes an incredible team to deliver the goodness of dairy and enrich our communities - come join us!DFA offers comprehensive health insurance--to all employees through Blue Cross Blue Shield including FSA/HSA, Virtual Care, Surgery Resources, and Diabetes Care.-- Additionally Dental, Vision, Voluntary Benefits, Life Insurance, 401K with company match is also offered.-- DFA employees are eligible for vacation benefits on the first day of the month after their hire date.-- Employees are eligible for up to 3 weeks of accrued paid vacation time.General Purpose:Perform various warehouse and inventory related tasks within the dry storage and cooler area of the facility.-- Operate the palletizer and conveyors for all products manufactured from the plant.--Job Duties and Responsibilities:Operate sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach-liftsAccurate accounting for products -- location, batch numbers, etc.Accurate usage of RFID inventory scan gunsAccurate completion and recording of documentsAccurate and timely completion of bay cardsLoad and unload trucks/trailers securelyPhysically handle the duties assigned, including manually sorting loads, prepping loads, manually splitting pallets of product, manually restacking pallets of product which requires lifting 50 lbs. bagsMust be able to accurately pull orders in assigned area without errorsMust insure the proper stock age and code rotation for all product in assigned areaMust insure there are no mixed pallets or tumbled cases put into the high rise for storageAble to work in a cold environmentPerform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenancePerform work independently as requiredMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesDedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arriveFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsExhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgmentAdhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformityAttend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills requiredOther duties may be assigned
