Our continued growth has created an immediate need for a Construction Inspector / Assistant Superintendent located in Saranac Lake, NY.The client for this project is for the Office of General Services.Please provide references upon resume submission. Responsibilities Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance Review plans to identify potential violations Document inspections and report any issues Determine the quality of materials being used throughout testing Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management a plus Minimum (6) years of experience in building construction trades. Minimum (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector including inspection of site/civil OSHA 30 hr. Proficiency with web-based submittal collaboration systems Construction scheduling knowledge to support project team Experience with the Uniform Code and NYC Supplement is preferred Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications Strong written and oral communication skills Collaborate with multiple team members Ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site Please visit our website for all of our career opportunities at https://careers-liro.icims.com Compensation: Min: $25/hr. - Max: $45.00/hr.The range provided is the salary that the Firm, in good faith, believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
