Position Overview: Responsible for all Receiving and Shipping functions. Reports to the Director of Operations. This opening is for DAY SHIFT, which operates 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Job Function: Supervise all functions of a busy warehouse including the management of inbound and outbound product shipments, inventory control, and day to day workflow. Hire, train, schedule and motivate warehouse personnel. Create, use and analyze metrics to evaluate both the performance of warehouse personnel and the effectiveness of warehouse processes. Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and other departments, including Customer Service and Purchasing. Resolve shipping issues and inventory discrepancies. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing Company standards and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Skills Required: Must possess an understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work. Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Familiar with all Microsoft programs is a plus. Familiar with UPS, FedEx, and International shipments. Familiar with International tariffs a plus . Positive attitude.
