Your role will be to:* Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of industrial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.* Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.* Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.* Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.* Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project milestones are met.* Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasting, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.* Foster effective communication among project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.* Mentor and coach junior project management staff, contributing to their professional growth and development.* Prepare and present project status reports and presentations to all stakeholders. This position is up to 70% travel.* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering industrial construction projects, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager. No residential candidates, please.* Strong knowledge of industrial construction methodologies, project management techniques, and industry best practices.* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional project teams.* Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.* CMP or PMP certification is a plus.* Applicant must live in or be willing to relocate to Birmingham, Alabama area.
