Technical Assistant Home Oxygen HOME OXYGEN AND DME (HOME OXYGEN DME BILLINGS) req7633Shift: DayEmployment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater) Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours (Non-Exempt) Starting Wage DOE: $17.00 - 21.25The Technical Assistant is for Home Oxygen and DME is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to one or more departments. including record and manual maintenance and first line interactions regarding internal/external customer concerns. Work is performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Performs in an environment which requires fast, unique and creative solutions.Essential Job Functions1. Maintains and ensures updates are processed for department(s) databases, primary records, manuals, polices and procedures (department specific) and reference materials. 2. System maintenance and data integrity for multiple system applications which may reside on more than one information system. 3. Calculates and performs data entry of patient charges ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 4. Maintains all department charging records. 5. Designs and produces correspondence, memorandums, documents, forms, newsletters, reports, metrics, and data graphs for projects and programs. 6. Provides administrative and secretarial support to Directors, Managers, Clinical Coordinators and their staff including receiving and assisting visitors/callers, appointment calendars, files and records management, telephones, meeting preparation and minutes, travel arrangements, monitoring supplies, and allocating expenses to appropriate cost center. 7. Communicates effectively and collaboratively with internal/external customers to identify concerns and issues, routes to appropriate resources, and ensures all matters requiring attention are addressed promptly and efficiently. 8. May assist in work across departmental lines as needed to meet organizational needs. 9. Utilizes performance improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of service.Minimum QualificationsEducation* High School or GEDExperience* Successful experience providing administrative support and services. * 1 Progressive, successful experience and skill in information and data maintenance * Successful experience working with and interacting with the staff and public in a productive and efficient manner. * Experience providing administrative and clerical support in a healthcare field experience preferred
