Your Opportunity as Senior Operations Support CoordinatorCollaborate with the Plant Human Resources team on administrative, operational activities, and support for the needs of Plant Leadership and employees. Serve as the main contact for Leave Coordination, Attendance & Discipline Management and Tracking, operational reporting, and hourly recruiting processes. Assist and lead company events and community engagement. Serve as a back-up for payroll processing as needed.Location: Orrville, OH PlantWork Arrangements: 100% on-site Reports to: Human Resources ManagerIn this role you will: Perform all recruiting activities for entry level hourly employees including sourcing, screening, interviewing, etc. Assist Associate Human Resources Manager with labor contract expectations including job posting, bidding process, disciplinary process, etc. Assist Human Resources Manager on activities related to the organizational pillar of the Smucker Quality Management System (SQMS) Manage one-time payment process for employee safety equipment reimbursements Work with Corporate leaves department on current plant leaves, including communicating to plant management on status updates Report out finished cases, review yield variances, and catch abnormalities Coordinate New Hire Orientation process for all new plant employees (hourly and salary) Lead the Plant Tour process including scheduling, equipment, serving as a tour guide, etc. Keep plant office supplies stocked, work with quality to ensure supplies in stock are compliant Work with outside vendors on scheduling, invoice management, and building vendor relationships Manage multiple ad-hoc projects as delegated by Human Resources Manager Draft functional communication materials for Operations/Plant HR The Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
