Our rapid growth and breadth of accounts translates into exciting opportunities for our people Job Summary The Sr. Events and Catering Operations Manager for Bon Appétit Management Company is responsible for thesuccessful execution of all events and catering functions and oversees the Events and Catering setup team, eventlogistics, and catering operations for all events on:site. This position will also collaborate with the Directors ofEvents and Catering, Sr. Events and Catering Managers/Events and Catering Managers to ensure exceptional servicedelivery and client satisfaction, including all events and catering initiatives. This position leads the event and BEOcommunications across operational and culinary teams, scheduling and training of operational staff, operationalschedule development to ensure proper delivery, set up, and clean up for all daily events. This position will managethe Events and Catering inventory for tables, chairs, catering small wares, equipment, beer/wine inventory, any othercatering and events equipment, and management of Events and Catering storage areas and facilities. The position willalso oversee the Catering fleet of delivery trucks (where applicable). POSITION OBJECTIVES: In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:- Collaborates extensively throughout the client organization with individuals in pivotal roles to ensure thesuccess of the department.- Facilitates seamless coordination of activities with other internal departments to achieve operationalexcellence.- Actively participates in and often leads team meetings, providing valuable insights and strategic directionfor catering department initiatives.- Interfaces directly with vendors fostering strong relationships and ensuring the delivery of exceptionalservice and experience.- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work effortswith other employees and organizations. Major Duties Functions and Tasks Daily Operations- Work collaboratively with all Events and Catering team members across the operation.- Represents company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner is all customer and employeeinteractions.- Manage hourly personnel appropriately based upon business needs and events, including sourcing temphelp if/when needed.- Hires, trains, and schedules catering staff in:service techniques, menu presentation, policies, andprocedures.- Ensures Successful operations of catering functions including labor control, purchasing, preparations,transportation, set:up, and cleanup of all events.- Ensures that all necessary food items have identifiers, PIDs or menus, displayed in a clean and consistentmanner.- Leads, manages, and inspires a diverse team with the goal of providing top:notch service to the clients.- Delivers consistent quality in logistics planning and delivery of VIP and complex events.- Interact with customers and resolves customer compl
