The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.Duties:Represent clients in insurance defense matters, with a primary focus on general liability cases.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients.Prepare and argue motions, attend court hearings, and participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, including trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services to clients.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar; additional licensure in other States is a plus.5-8 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance defense preferred.Strong analytical, communication, and advocacy skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.Skills:Legal research and writing.Litigation and trial advocacy.Case management and organization.Negotiation and mediation.Team collaboration and communication.
