We’re seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team. Here at Legal Monkeys, you'll learn what it means to live out our core values. We have a strong focus on the growth of our People, our Clients, and our Company. Our Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all aspects of Legal Monkeys’ financial and accounting transactions. The Breakdown Enter all bookkeeping records daily. Perform accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and issuing payments. Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Run accounting reports. Perform check runs. Excel in your mathematician and accounting abilities. Don’t hide between those excel sheets, show those excellent verbal and written communication skills. Assist with regulatory reports and filings in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related experience required. Experience: Proven 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar Accounting experience required. Experience in account reconciliation. Technology Proficiency: Strong software skills. Advanced in Microsoft Excel required. Proficient in QuickBooks preferred. Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, debits, and credits. Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills. Analytical problem solver. Align with our Core Values: Plays as a team. Thinks critically through unexpected problems.
