Night Shift CNA/DCA/PCA 10:45 pm - 7:15 am. Our amazing family-owned company is seeking friendly, team-oriented, and empathetic healthcare professionals with a passion for helping others in a direct-care role as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Direct Care Aid. As the primary caregiver, you will assist patients with varied levels of mobility with getting dressed, going to the restroom, hygiene care, eating daily meals, and other activities of daily living. You'll also record patient vitals and note any changes in behavior, complaints, and symptoms to the supervisor. Compensation- $15.50 hourly +--$2 hour shift differential Responsibilities: --- Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages --- Relay important data or changes of patient status to charge nurse or general physician and other facility staff as needed --- Keep each room up to high standards of sanitization by changing bedpans and sheets and performing regular room cleaning --- Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level --- Assist patients with regular exercise as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level Qualifications: --- Proficient computer skills and experience using computer database to ensure patient history is accurately recorded --- Exceptional communication skills in working with patients and families to maintain positive relationships --- Possession of a high school diploma or the equivalent (for example, GED) is required --- Candidates must have already completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college --- Be a team player and get along with others --- Ability to take direction from supervisor in charge and show emotional intelligence About Company: Stuarts Draft Retirement Community is on a mission to become the Shenandoah Valley's choice senior living community for both our staff and our residents!
