Summary Bayside Baptist Weekday Preschool is looking for assistant teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. If you enjoy providing high quality learning experiences to little minds, helping them discover the amazing world God created, we want to meet you! Assistant teacher schedules vary from 3 - 5 days per week with work hours of 9:00am - 1:45pm beginning at the end of August - May.Assistant teachers support lead teachers in executing a variety of hands-on learning activities that promote early writing, language, and math skills. Additionally, all teachers encourage students to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually through quality interactions with peers, teachers, and God's Word.Website: www.baysidebc.org (click the Weekday Preschool tab at the top) Duties Support lead teachers in executing a variety of hands-on learning activities Provide for the physical safety and well-being of each child Maintain strict student and family confidentiality Encourage student growth and participation Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, and the community Requirements Passionate about working with young children Positive, encouraging work ethic Timely and regular adherence to established work schedules Ability to maintain confidential files and information Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, colleagues, students, parents and community High school diploma or equivalent Must complete all necessary background checks Become certified in CPR/First Aid Nice To Haves Experience in early childhood education or related field Current First Aid/CPR Certification Benefits Part-time, predictable schedule Training in ECE field provided Closed for major holidays with extended breaks Supportive, encouraging work environment
