We are looking to recruit a DT and/or an Engineering specialist to work at an excellent independent school in Ipswich from May – June/July 2024. Full time is preferred but part time would be considered. Ideally you will hold QTS or QTLS and a relevant degree however, if you have extensive experience teaching either of these subjects in secondary schools in the UK, or you have trained in another country and are eligible to apply for QTS, please do get in touch. Work on a Contract for Services – this means under the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) after you reach the qualifying period, you are paid a comparative rate of pay up to MPS6 or UPS3 depending on the school’s pay policy. Registration and DBS Certificate Registration is subject to references and an enhanced DBS check. The fee for a DBS certificate is £58.00 and it is mandatory that you register your DBS with the Update Service (£13.00 annually).
