In our drawer factory located in Mt Eaton, OH, we build drawer boxes from start to finish. Sheets of plywood are manually cut into strips using a table saw, and then cut into smaller lengths with a chop saw. After that step, a machine cut dovetails into the ends of the cut pieces, which are used to interlock the corners, creating a very strong joint. 1/4" thick plywood is used for bottoms, and is installed at the same time as the sides are interlocked to form the complete drawer box. Completed drawer boxes are then coated with a clear coat of finish, and stacked for shipping to our facility in Killbuck, OH. Job duties include: Lifting sheets of plywood weighing up to 40 pounds and feeding them into the table saw Adjusting fence on table saw to cut pieces at correct widths Being able to read cut lists Operating chop saw Operating dovetail machine Operating a trim nailer Being able to communicate well with others #Applecreek #Mt.
