We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as we are actively recruiting for a Weld Engineering Technician responsible for improving Center Line’s skillset and expertise specifically in the area of automated arc welding while fostering the relationship between the Controls Technicians and the Weld Engineering Department. Consideration will be given to candidates with arc welding proficiency, robot teach and manipulation, weld troubleshooting and development. What we’re looking for Act as the technical lead for all arc welding applications Train Center Line staff on the proper use of equipment Support the arc welding commissioning efforts at the customer’s facility as required Participate in the supplier training on new power sources Act as single point contact for weld control supplier issues not addressed in initial supplier training Develop arc welding procedures and validation methods What you need to succeed Post-secondary education in Engineering, Controls, Robotics, or Welding Knowledge of arc welding processes Knowledge of applicable automotive welding specifications Experience in weld inspection methods, acceptance.
