CloudShape is experiencing rapid growth within our IT & Engineering Portfolio. We are currently seeking a talented Sr. Wireless Network Designer to join our growing team. The Sr. Wireless Network Designer will be responsible for performing site surveys utilizing Ekahau to develop wireless solutions specific to each location. Other job duties include: Manipulating floor plans to increase WLAN design effectiveness. Working with CAD to develop floor plans. Adjusting RSSI offsets in Ekahau Designing new Wi-Fi networks for offices, high-capacity areas, and warehouses Capturing Wi-Fi survey data in multiple ways, including Autopilot and Just Go survey modes. Analyzing survey data manually and automatically with Ekahau Optimizer Optimizing existing Wi-Fi networks. Using Wi-Fi security fundamentals to Identify and mitigate security threats. Performing spectrum analysis. Creating bill of materials to be used for equipment procurement. Providing configurations to installers for specific locations. Creating and/or maintaining technical documentation (design packages with topography, floor plans with heat maps, cable plans, equipment configurations, etc.) To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and will be contingent upon government approval of a candidate and verification of their security clearance prior to starting with CloudShape. Basic Qualifications: A minimum of Seven (7) years of wireless networking design experience. Experience using DNSWatch, Cisco ISE, Stealthwatch. Experience and proven ability to perform surveys using Ekahau. Ability to work independently with support and coordination from the Project Manager. An active Top Secret Security Clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Ekahau Certified Solutions Engineer Certified Wireless Design Professional Certified Wireless Security Professional What a new CloudShape team member can expect starting out: During the first 30 days of employment onboarding activities to include training requirements, program overviews, system familiarization, and department-specific training will establish a solid foundation for the new CloudShape team member. Introductions to management and team leads will provide insight into the team dynamics while identifying key areas where the new CloudShape team member can provide value to the program. Day 30 through 90 will consist of further integrating the new CloudShape team member into daily activities with a team lead to guide them. Tasks will be assigned in accordance with the appropriate pace needed to ensure process and system assimilation. Day 90 and onward will consist of mission-guided projects and opportunities for the new CloudShape team member to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
