Do you have a experiencing supporting people with specific learning difficulties? Do you have a passion for helping people reach their full potential? Then Randstad have the role for you. We are looking to recruit Specialist One to One Study Skills tutors to support students with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia during their studies. Responsibilities: As a Study skills tutor you will be expected to: Provide tailored one: to: one support with students you have been assigned to based on their specific learning difficulties Assist students with organisational skills such as, time management, creating action plans to work towards deadlines Help with their research skills by assisting them to access ranges of resources Provide help with writing skills including how to structure their work Encourage students to build on existing strengths so they are able to develop on their independence Behave in a confidential and professional manner at all time with students Work closely with Randstad and ensure any concerns regarding students are communicated immediately Requirements: As this is a specialist role, it is essential that you have a professional membership with one of the following: The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS) : Full or associate membership British Dyslexia Association (BDA) : Full professional membership The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE) : Professional membership Dyslexia Guild Associate Member (ADG) o Associate Member (ADG FE/HE) o Member (MDG) Benefits of being a spld tutor with Randstad: GBP31.38 pay per hour (this includes your holiday pay) Refer: a: Friend scheme where you could have a chance of earning GBP300 in vouchers E: Learning and CPD A dedicated team on hand at Randstad to help with any queries Working for the UKs leading provider of NMH support Flexible working role, hours that suit you and managing your own caseload.
