Location: Appleby Magna (DE12 8AA)Contract Type: Full-time Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday Salary: Up to £40,000 plus car/car allowance Benefits: 33 days holiday, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits scheme About the Job: In the context of nearly 50 years of automotive success, Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to manage the new Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre in Appleby Magna, Leicestershire. This centre, housed at the Mercia campus, is one of the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer. As an HR Consultant, you will play a vital role by providing effective HR support, particularly in the areas of Employee Relations, Reward, Training, Development, and Resourcing to the business management and colleagues. Initially, due to the operation's ramp-up, you will be onsite 4 to 5 days per week until Christmas. Afterward, a review will take place, likely resulting in a working pattern of 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. This is an exciting time to join the project! Key Responsibilities: Deputize for the HRBP where required. Represent the HR department at relevant site meetings as appropriate. Act as an ambassador for HR within the business and with clients. Provide consultative support to management team members on employee forum matters. Offer case management, advice, guidance, and coaching to line managers on absence management, discipline, and grievance. Assist with TUPE activities when necessary. Support the Employee Engagement Survey. Contribute to policy development as needed. Advise and coach line managers on reward levels and types. Provide training modules and development activities in conjunction with HR Advisors and the Capability team. Support change management and effective employee communication.
