Service Care Solutions are looking for a HR Resourcing Officer to work within the Merseyside Police on a 3-month contract. Location: Warrington Job roles/responsibilities: To provide a comprehensive support service to the NWROCU in relation to all HR and Resourcing matters. This includes general day to day maintenance and management and system administration of the computerised Duty Management System DMS and provision of all support services relating to Human Resources. Provide HR support services for recruitment within 6 North West Forces, including advert preparation, shortlisting, interviews, and offer processes. Handle NWROCU resourcing tasks like recruitment, attendance, resignations, transfers, and promotions. Offer advice on policy, liaise with regional Force HR teams, and assist in people management. Support supervisors in absence management, well-being, and OHU referrals. Manage Duty Management System DMS inputs for rotas, training, starters, and leavers. Process accurate overtime reports and manage HR and DMS databases for reliable management reports. Assist users in DMS usage, perform system administration tasks, and ensure correct access. Follow Standard Operating Procedure, maintain filing and destruction per regulations. Manage off-site storage of archived materials. Knowledge/Experience required: Required qualifications: Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Level 3 Foundation Certificate or equivalent, NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services. Previous experience in HR/administrative roles involving confidential information and deadlines. Collaborative and flexible team player with strong customer care focus. Problem-solving ability, initiative, and adaptability to changes in HR environments. Familiarity with HR processes, policies, and legislative frameworks. In-depth knowledge of DMS system as.
