Key Responsibilities of the Senior Metallurgist will include: Continuous management and improvement of the internal Metallurgy process, encompassing systems, processes, personnel, facilities and equipment, with a view of adhering to specific customer standards & requirements Verification of raw material and externally sourced components, including interpretation of material certification Conducting a variety of different hardness and tensile tests including Vickers, Rockwell and Brinell Develop and monitoring the Heat Treatment function including Furnace Programs and verification of heat treated products carburising, quenching, tempering, stress relieving Leading, motivating and developing a small number of direct reports including 1 Apprentice & 2 Document Controllers For the Senior Metallurgist role,.
