An opportunity has become available for a Materials Planner to join an established and fast-paced business based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. You will be provided with an excellent benefits package including a 5 annual bonus, 4 x life insurance, 33 days annual leave and company discounts to name a few. This position is working Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and offers a salary of £28,000 - £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience. My client is a rapidly growing food manufacturer, supplying high-quality produce to one of the UK’s largest retailers. You will be working as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team at their head office and will be given a clear career and training plan. Roles and Responsibilities as a Materials Planner: Liaising with the planning, production, procurement and accounts departments to ensure the smooth running of the site. Arrange daily deliveries. Observe purchase orders to guarantee materials are delivered to the scheduled time frame within the agreed specification and price Inputting daily stock counts into the internal MRP system. Chasing suppliers regarding any non-conformance issues. I am keen to see CVs from individuals who have: Previously worked as an MRP Planner, Materials Planner, Raw Materials Coordinator, Demand Planner or similar role as this is essential. Experience working in a food manufacturing environment as this is essential for the position. Strong communication and IT skills.
