Start Date: ASAPSalary: c£70k-£75k basic plus competitive package Company & Project: A regional construction business operating in multiple New Build and Refurbishment sectors, are currently recruiting for an experienced and talented professional to lead their Bid Writing team, based in Cambridgeshire. Our client has an established pre-construction team which includes 3 Bid Writers and they are currently looking to add an experienced Senior/Lead Bid Writer with a track record working within the Construction Industry to be responsible for bid submission quality, interpret client questions and lead and implement bid writing strategies that align with the requirements of the tender. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading the Bid Writing team and for leading the writing of Bids to a high standard of quality. You will be supporting the work winning team, handling tenders generated from a range of single stage tenders and frameworks. Previous experience in working in pre-construction or bid teams within the Construction industry is essential along with a clear track record of producing successful Bids, with an excellent eye for detail and understanding of the quality and client focused response required. A full understanding of the construction project lifecycle and construction methodology is essential for this opportunity. Desirable Experience:5 years+ experience as Bid Writer or Coordinator or Manager within the Construction Industry. Excellent analytical skills and interpretation of questions/themes. Good knowledge of construction management process and techniques. Previous roles: Senior Bid Writer OR Bid Manager OR Assistant Bid Manager OR Bid Writer OR Bid Coordinator.
