POSITION SUMMARY: The Graphic Designer will play a key role within the Marketing Team with responsibility for conceptualizing and designing high-quality, creative solutions across various media types. This position will support marketing activity and global sales growth across all mediums and channels. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Create high-quality visual assets, including graphics, illustrations, and layouts for print and digital media, including content for website and social media. Lead the design and development of assigned projects under minimal supervision, develop concepts, follow processes, track, and meet deadlines. Ensure accuracy in upload, color, registration, and actively work to improve quality and efficiency of project Work with other designers and management to ensure consistent quality across all projects. Work closely with department team, photographers, web developers, product managers, marketing communications, and external agencies on asset production. Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and the development of new ideas. Work with vendors as assigned and attend press checks or other facility visits as applicable. Other tasks and assignments as required. KEY REQUIRMENTS: Bachelors degree in graphic design, illustration or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field. Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in basic design principles: layout, hierarchy, typography, color theory, scale, etc. Working knowledge of graphic designing software in a Mac OS environment. Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud applications , including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office. Website UX (user experience) and front-end assistant (HTML and CSS) Co py writing experience is a plus. Experience with nutraceutical and/or personal care products is a plus. OTHER SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to communicate persuasively, both orally and in writing, with other managers, staff, and the public; must be mature, creative, highly motivated, resistant to stress, flexible, decisive, tactful, respectful, and use good judgment, and must have ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with supervisors, professional staff members, consultants, agencies, and distributors. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach and kneel. Must be able to lift from 20 to 25 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Noise, dust, lighting, temperature, and physical/ergonomic hazards are typical of those usually found in an office environment. Powered by JazzHR
