Since their initial establishment over 80 years ago, they have become a critical part of the supply chain for customers who operate in various sectors, such as Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Mining. Because of heightened workload at their Leeds site, this employer is actively searching for a Motor Winder to join their team on a permanent basis. Their LEEDS based facility is based just a few miles from the M621, meaning the successful Mechanical Service Engineer can easily commute from surrounding towns & cities including Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford, Wetherby, Bradford, Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Halifax. Key responsibilities of the Motor Winder will include: Working as part of a Repair/Refurbish/Overhaul team, responsible for carrying out repairs, overhauls and refurbishments of industrial machinery predominantly AC & DC equipment Inspecting dismantled machinery to identifying faults, wear and damage in order to advise on appropriate repair procedure Occasionally working on customer premises to carry out servicing and repair work For the Motor Winder position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess: IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline/subject Apprenticeship,.
