They are looking for an ambitious individual to aid their delivery in diverse areas such as drought analysis, environmental backssment, and hydro-ecology. As a Senior Water Resources Consultant, you'll lead the charge in designing, optimizing, and analyzing water management strategies for a range of aquatic and ecological projects. Your responsibilities will include: Efficient project management within set time, budget, and quality parameters. Timely production of top-tier work, including data analysis and reports. Skillful prioritization of your own and others' workloads to meet deadlines. Identifying opportunities for business growth, attending conferences, and presenting at marketing events. Maintaining client interaction for project needs and ongoing engagements. Collaborating on tender preparation, budgeting, and scope definition. Guiding and mentoring junior team members. Proactively engaging in continuous health and safety improvement. Requirements A BSc or MSc in a pertinent field, along with a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in water resources management, drought planning, and related backssments. A track record of successfully planning and executing analytical projects on time and within budget. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Up-to-date knowledge of key UK environmental legislation linked to water resources and drought planning. Exceptional communication and report writing abilities. A valid driving license. Adaptability in managing evolving priorities. Desirable though not mandatory: Water resources planning and drought management. Water risk evaluation and security. Hydrometric data analysis. Resilience and sustainable water management. backssments including HRA, SEA, WFD, and EAR. Climate resilience and adaptation. Regulatory compliance support.
