Job Summary: A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist is a skilled professional who operates, sets up, and programs CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. CNC machines use computerized controls to automate the machining process, enabling high precision and efficiency in the production of various materials. Morning, afternoon, and weekend shift vacancies available. Job Responsibilities: Your supervisor may from time to time ask you to perform other related duties not specifically included in this job description. This job's key responsibilities include: Machine Setup. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Program CNC machines based on the design requirements of the part. Set up and install cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the CNC machine. Programming : Create or modify CNC programs using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. Input program codes into the CNC machine's control unit. Debug and optimize CNC programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Operational Monitoring : Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure they are producing parts to specifications. Adjust machine settings, feed rates, and tool offsets as needed for optimal performance. Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with CNC machines or programs.
